About Looking Beyond the Horizon Web Site

box"Looking Beyond the Horizon" contains resources Fr. Raul uses in his pastoral work with people of different ages and backgrounds. It succeeds the web site he started for the Chaplaincy of a boys' school in Cebu, Philippines. He is currently the Chaplain of Dualtech Center (Canlubang Campus), and of two other centers. Dualtech Center is a vocational school that brought the German Dual Training System to the Philippines.

The title "Looking Beyond the Horizon" describes Fr. Raul's continuing efforts to gather reference materials useful for his pastoral work. These materials have come from a variety of sources: friends, acquaintances, including those from the World Wide Web. Aside from being an on-line storage for his references, this website is Fr. Raul's way of sharing these resources to anybody interested in them.

"Looking Beyond the Horizon" also reflects Fr. Raul's conviction that the sacred is always behind our earthly horizon. He hopes the resources contained in this site will help visitors discover the sacred as we journey along this path towards our eternal home (if we are lucky with the help of God's grace).

Fr. Raul would like to thank his Dad and his Mom for being supportive to their roving son. He would also like to extend his gratitude to his brothers for constantly doing a corporal work of mercy: feeding their brother whenever he visits them. Many thanks too to the the guys at my homebase and at Dualtech Center for their wholesome company.
